Wabash Riverfront bridges both communities, Chauncey Village is on the west side, and the Arts & Market District is on the east. Lafayette is home to a plethora of neighborhood, community, and riverfront parks. Columbian Park includes Tropicanoe Cove, Columbian Park Zoo, and Loeb Stadium. McAllister Recreation Center and Lafayette Aquatics offers educational and recreational programs. Riehle Plaza and John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge is an outdoor plaza, riverfront walkway, and pedestrian bridge which offers community events and festivals year-round. The west side opens into Tapawingo Park.
